Alter Ego introduces Collection I
Alter Ego, a luxury display maison, introduces Collection I: four premium displays, led by the Nocturne 49 QD-OLED, released in limited, numbered allocations.
Alter Ego, a luxury display maison, today introduced Collection I, its first collection of premium computer displays. The collection comprises four references, finished in ink black or ivory, each carrying a single wordmark beneath the panel, and released in limited, numbered allocations rather than through ordinary retail.

The collection
- Nocturne 49 (Réf. N49·240), the flagship: a 49-inch, 1800R QD-OLED display at 5120 × 1440 and 240 Hz, with 0.03 ms grey-to-grey response, 1,500,000:1 contrast, DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99% DCI-P3 and 90 W USB-C.
- Solitaire 27 (Réf. S27·280): a flat 27-inch OLED display at 2560 × 1440 and 280 Hz, with 0.03 ms response, 10-bit colour and 90° pivot.
- Atelier 40 (Réf. A40·5K2K): a 40-inch, 2500R display at 5120 × 2160 with 99% DCI-P3, 120 Hz and 65 W USB-C, made for photographers, editors and designers.
- Horizon 49 (Réf. H49·5K): a 49-inch, 1500R 5K ultrawide at 5120 × 1440 and 120 Hz with a built-in KVM and 65 W USB-C, in two finishes: Noir and Blanc.
Released by allocation
Each reference is produced in small batches and released in numbered allocations. Clients join the Alter Ego list and are offered a unit of their chosen reference before it is shown anywhere else, with no obligation to accept. Requests are open now at the Alter Ego website.
Design
Alter Ego displays are designed to be considered from every side. Each is finished in Noir, an ink black, or Blanc, an ivory, with a single printed signature and no RGB colour effects. The Alter Ego monogram, The Reflection, shows a letter A standing on a horizon line above its own mirror image: the person at the desk and the self that appears on the screen.
