Few things, chosen well
Four references in Collection I. We add one only when it renders light in a way the others cannot.
Alter Ego is a luxury display maison. We make a deliberately small collection of premium monitors and release them in limited allocations, for people who want the object on their desk to be as considered as the work they do on it.
The monogram is a single letter standing on a horizon, with its mirror image drawn beneath in a finer line. Together they form a diamond. The upper A is the person at the desk. The lower one is the self that appears on the screen.
The same horizon runs through everything we make: the hairline under each photograph, the plane every display stands on, and the line where the panel meets the bezel.

Ink or ivory finishes, and one printed signature. The picture is the only thing on the front that asks for attention.
Every figure we publish comes from the panel's specification sheet. Typical values are labelled typical, and peak values are labelled peak.
Each reference ships in limited, numbered allocations. Clients on the list are offered a unit before it is shown anywhere else.

Most monitors are designed to be looked through and forgotten, or styled to look like gaming hardware. A display sits in front of you for most of your waking day. We think it deserves the care given to a good watch, a good chair or a good pair of speakers: few parts, honest numbers, and a form that still looks right with the power off.
